GHCI 2003 07.07.2003 - 07.17.2003 Genesys-Hurley Cancer Institute in collaboration with Jim Lee Fine Arts Camp Ground Floor Radiology 302 Kensington Flint, MI 48503 Duo design, collaborative application. A colleague and I designed this mural, the painting was done by 7-12 grade students from the Flint area.This mural was a collaboration through Mott Community College's Jim Lee Fine Arts Camp and the Genesys-Hurley Cancer Institute. For the 2 weeks, campers painted in the institute. This mural is based around a picture that was already hung on the wall. After completing the mural, students made hand-painted wooden cutouts of animals and flowers to place among the scenery. We gained media attention through this gesture, both in written and video form.
