GHCI 2004 07.12.2004 - 07.23.2004 Genesys-Hurley Cancer Institute in collaboration with Jim Lee Fine Arts Camp 2nd Floor Chemo Clinic 302 Kensington Flint, MI 48503 Duo design, collaborative application. A colleague I designed the mural, and the painting was done by 7-12 grade students from the Flint and surrounding areas. This mural was a collaboration through Mott Community College's Jim Lee Fine Arts Camp and the Genesys-Hurley Cancer Institute. For the 2 weeks, campers painted in the institute while being watched by everyone who was passing through. After completion of the painting, wooden cutouts of birds and other "critters" were glued to the wall to add another dimension to the project.
